Christmas is coming!!!

I’ve been busy preparing for the family get together which is only 4 days away.  I just finished making Spicy Smoked Sarachi Aioli sauce for Christmas.  I’m planning on using this sauce to dip our fresh vegetable: carrots, asparagus, snow peas, and green beans.   This is really delicious that I can’t wait for the family to taste it.

The menu for Christmas Eve:

  • Roast Tri-Tip with Cognac Sauce
  • Baked Mashed Potato with Parmesan Cheese and Bread Crumbs
  • Creamed Corn
  • Green Salad

Breakfast Christmas morning:

  • Sticky buns
  • Mexican hot chocolate
  • Coffee
  • Cheese omelette, mushroom omelette
  • Toast

Lunch:

  • Panini sandwiches
  • Veggie Cruidite with Spicy Smoked Sarachi Aioli Sauce
  • Roasted Artichoke Salad
  • Delice de Bourgogne (triple cream cheese)
  • Saint Marcellin Cheese
  • Melba Toast
  • Wine and Beer

Dinner:

  • Lechon (crispy pork belly)
  • Dawn’s Mac n Cheese
  • Chicken with Forty Cloves of Garlic
  • Ham
  • Green Salad
  • Steamed Rice
  • Chocolate Cake
  • Chocolate Tart

I hope I did not forget anything and will be sharing with everyone the beautiful array of foods Christmas eve and day.  I’ll be busy shopping and preparing all these food and hope it’s a success.
