I am a huge fan of chicken liver and this is the most delicious chopped liver that I’ve ever had. The next time I prepare this, I will use my food processor, this time around I wanted to feel the texture of the ingredients and add sage next time. This would be great for tapas too. Great flavors!!!
flaky and wonderful shortbread crust, a fabulous thick tart, lemony, creamy filling and they cut into perfect pieces… Simply delicious. What made these lemon bars superior to the other recipes is that the lemon layer is twice as thick as other recipes
Greek festival is an absolute steal…provides you with the opportunity to enjoy the day…tasting gyros or the souvlaki and pastries. You can buy your favorites in bulk to take home and enjoy when the festival is over. Or before you leave, whichever you prefer.
Overall I would say this dish was truly delicious. I will make again and try using the meatball recipe here, though I will probably sub turkey for the beef. It pairs very well with the bright, lemony couscous (Couscous with Fresh Cilantro and Lemon Juice), though I just garnished with cilantro.
This recipe is simple and easy. You don’t have to use a double-boiler but using a microwave. Dessert ready in minutes.
The cake is surprisingly light, not rich and heavy which compliments the wonderful toffee sauce. The sauce is to die for and will definitely increase the amount. I would reserve a small amount just in case you have left-overs you can warm the cake in the microwave oven for 20 seconds and drizzle some the sauce. I would serve it with whipped cream and sprinkle chopped nut on top. Best cake I’ve ever tasted
