Tomato Green Onion Omelette
I love omelette’s and today I’m going to make tomato green onions with a little cheese omelet. Good healthy breakfast after working out and now I am ready to face the world. This should hold me until dinner time.

Croque Monsieur
I am in love with this sandwich and when I first saw Ina prepare this I wanted to dive my face in the bechamel, Gruyere cheese, and ham. While watching the movie “It’s Complicated” you see Steve Martin and Meryl Streep eating this great sandwich, but not as rich as Ina’s Croque Monsieur, I wanted to have one immediately. I started to crave and wanted to make this sandwich. I know it’s just ham and cheese but done in a very rich, decadent way.

Have you ever wondered what to do with leftover mashed potatoes? Don’t feel like throwing mashed potatoes in the garbage and wanted prepare it a different way. My answer is make mashed potato timbales. I recently faced the same dilemma, over the holidays I made too much baked mashed potato that tasted so good and did not have the heart to throw it way. I decided to make bite size mashed potatoes as appetizer or as a side dish. Molded in muffin cups, these pretty individual servings of mashed potatoes will dress up any festive occasion.

Chicken with Forty Cloves of Garlic
This recipe is wonderful. Amazingly, there is no overwhelming flavor of 40 cloves of garlic; they really mellow out beautifully in this recipe. I doubled the recipe for the sauce because my family loves extra sauce. Finishing the sauce with cognac and cream makes it better. My whole family loved it and they went back for seconds.

Roasted Artichoke Salad
Gorgeously scrumptious and whimsically tantalizing. This is an excellent salad, the presentation is beautiful. Nice, simple and elegant. I watched Ina prepare this salad and loved all the ingredients. I don’t understand why I never made my own artichoke salad now it’s no longer an excuse. Well, the family loved it.

Ina’s Chocolate Cake
Best chocolate cake I have ever tasted! Moist from the buttermilk and the delicious chocolate flavor is enhanced by the coffee. I would highly recommend making this cake.

It’s Christmas Eve and I have so many things to prepare today for Christmas Eve dinner and dessert for Christmas. This a chocolate lovers delight and very creamy. This is so delicious, elegant, smooth, decadent, and easy chocolate dessert.

Creamed Corn
This is one of the best creamed corn I have tasted and will be making it once again. The hint of corn meal, sugar and rosemary made it so good. Real comfort food!!!
